The Amsterdam Summer Intensive (7-27 July 2018), is an ideal opportunity for dancers to study the styles of leading European (and other) choreographers, in an international atmosphere together with other professional and professionally-oriented dancers. Dancers can choose their own schedule and stay for any period of time Through the combination of classes and workshops that are offered, dancers can acquire familiarity with skills and tools needed to succeed in today’s dance world. Workshop showings are held at the end of each week and there are other performance opportunities as well.  A collaboration with the cutting-edge Julidans Festival  allows dancers to see a wide variety of performances.

Registration will open towards the end of February
Dancers can take as many workshops and classes as they wish and  and can stay any length of time.
Single classes  are 10 euros, a ten class pass is 80 euros. You can purchase them at the studio. A 30 day unlimited pass for the open classes is also available for 195,- euros which you can also purchase in advance.  Workshops during the summer intensive cost between 35 and 40 euros a day. You can pay for them in advance and at the studio, but only when you have paid your place is secured, so better in advance.
The classes are open to dancers of advance/professional level and  no pre-registration is necessary.  They can be paid for at the registration desk in the studio.   For workshops  you need to pre-register on the site and then send a CV. A selection is made on the basis of the CVs (usually we choose a mix of professionals and students) and then payment must be made.  Workshops are of different lengths in terms of number of days and amount of hours.  Some workshops are scheduled so that you can take two a day, but usually a class or two plus one workshop is already quite a full program.
A list of  budget-priced accommodations is to be found here. In addition, for dancers staying two weeks more we have a deal with The very hip and happening Student Hotel (12 minutes bike or tram ride from the studio) . For 47,- (ex. city tax) per night you can get:
